Training Workshops for Volunteers and Staff who work with vulnerable groups

We aim to develop the skills of staff and volunteers in order to improve the quality of the service they deliver to vulnerable young people and adults, and to support your organisation’s development.

These tailor-made workshops are for groups of between 5 and 25 people, and are delivered by an experienced facilitator, supported by actors / volunteers depending on the purpose and content of the workshop. They can be delivered on your own premises or a venue of your choice, and can be half-day or full-day to meet your needs.

Our training workshops are activity-based and interactive – you will be involved in a variety of fun, stimulating activities, work as a team and have fun, whilst addressing some serious issues in a non-threatening and supportive way.

We can deliver workshops aimed at bringing your staff together to explore a particular theme / issue relevant to their roles, which incorporate the following:
  • An initial planning meeting with your organisation
  • A fun workshop where participants will:
  • - share good practice
    - work as a team
    - identify ‘real life’ issues in the workplace, and possible solutions
    - observe scenarios
    - identify their personal strengths and areas for development
    - recognise the skills of their colleagues
    - consider new / different ways of working
    - leave the workshop feeling good about themselves
    - identify some personal actions

  • Summary of possible future actions for the organisation
  • A full evaluation of the day, including feedback from the group activities

Workshops are tailor-made to meet the needs of your organisation and staff / volunteers. We can also adapt workshops that we have previously delivered to meet your particular needs.
